JAWEID ISHAQUE

A post-graduate in Economics from Central Michigan University, USA (1982) and Punjab University, Pakistan (1976)
Mr. Ishaque has over 27 years of diversified work experience, including heading operations, strategic & marketing planning, interactions with MNC principals, people management & OD; spanning fertilizers, agri-inputs sector, agriculture in general, sugar industry, agri-franchise management, trade facilitation and risk management / insurance intermediation. His prior corporate career spans Exxon Chemicals / Engro Chemicals, Jaffer Bros. Pvt. Ltd., and spearheading startup ventures Agrimall Pvt. Ltd. (as CEO), and Al Moiz Industries Pvt. Ltd. (as COO).
In last 14 years of consultancy career Mr. Ishaque has been involved with diverse projects but mainly focused on energy projects in Pakistan, Bangladesh & UAE. Such consultancy involved viability studies, project proposals, tariff estimations and often included equipment proposals, for power generation projects. Lately he has been especially active in the emerging niche of ‘energy logistics’ in Pakistan relevant to the upcoming projects based on coal & LNG with special reference to plugging and upgrading logistic infrastructure gaps in Pakistan ports, in active collaboration with leading Italian engineering consultancy group. Mr. Ishaque is currently Executive Director in Sifaat
S. FATIMA JAWEID

Holds a Masters degree in Sociology from University of Punjab (1977)
Mrs. Fatima Jaweid has 12 years experience in television production, associated with PTV until 1986 and then with Combined Network Television (1992-94) and was associated with such programmes as Alif Laila, Studio One (for PTV) and Potluck (for CNT). She is now partially involved in freelance work in developing documentaries, both commercial & content. Mrs. Jaweid is currently Managing Director in Sifaat.
HASAN AHMED
Senior Financial Consultant & Associate Director

A graduate in Commerce from Karachi University (1982), Certified Member of American Institute of Cost & Public Accountants USA (1990), Member of Cost & Management Accountants UK
Mr. Hasan has over 30 years of experience in finance & accounting, project financial evaluations, bank credit arrangements and financial closures for companies & projects in progressively more responsible financial management positions and. His career spans such diverse industries as housing& real estate development, sugar production, sports management (CFO, Pakistan Cricket Board), investment fund management and real estate projects (ex-CFO of Taavun Co. Ltd., UAE, an offshore funded umbrella investment group).
Currently as independent consultant his activities include consultancy & advisories on investment portfolio management, debt structuring & project finance to various Pakistan & offshore entities in banking, sugar, textile and food value-addition industries.
JAVAID KHAN

Mr. Javaid has over 45 years of diversified engineering experience in design, fabrication, project management, construction and plant operations. In his career he has worked in oil refineries, fertilizer plants, sugar industry, Project Manager for dismantling of aromatic plant on behalf of large Pakistani Refinery, as well as with a leading steel fabrication engineering company for construction and installation of wind towers for Renewable Power sponsors.

Mr. Arsalan has been employed in Pak Iran Investment Fund as Senior Associate Credit and has been key resource in his prior financial institution for financial evaluations of projects & structuring of funds totaling Rs.5 Bn for client companies in fertilizers, cement, housing and other sectors. He is a key resource for financial modeling, business risk assessment & mitigation, of project feasibilities.
M. ABDUR RAHMAN

Mr Abdul Rehman has over 8 years of experience in Project Management, supply chain and Production operations and has worked for Shell Pakistan Limited and Proctor and Gamble Pakistan Limited. He has been associated with Sifaat Associates for 1 year, working on due diligence of projects for client. He is an avid reader of e-books and articles towards self enhancement.
